Latest Releases Information From Elektek

Hi everyone,

Here are the press releases for our last and next release.

(ETK024 - 24/05/10) SMOOTH – ROLLING - TECH HOUSE. If this EP could literally get up and walk around it would probably have the appearance of a musical equivalent of Oscar Wilde in a top hat and by that I mean it boasts a decadent sense of style and an appetite for luxurious self-indulgence. Drugs Machine is Nikkolass Research’s fourth solo release on Elektek. This is an exercise in the art of repetition featuring three deep ’n’ subby tracks full of subtle restraint and atmosphere proudly presented by ELEKTEK, ENJOY.

(ETK023 - 26/04/10) LISTEN/BUY The second Elektek remix package featuring a team of old and new faces putting their spin on Nikkolas Research’s floor filling original Elektek release: Middle of the Critic Night. If you loved it first time round here’s a chance to hear it like never before. Tech house duo: Gaz Donning & Pjc Project keep it deep, smooth and simple - stripping down and amplifying the bare essentials. Chris Firenze provides the release with a progressive mix builder boasting all the ingredients needed to create an experimental, dark and relentless atmosphere. Young Alec Carlsson takes centre stage with his fantastic deep and brooding, solid MNML Techno remix. The intense build-ups and the hardest drops on the release will ensure that any self respecting tech head would regret not being on the floor for this one. If however, your interest’s lie on the darker side YosTek’s remix takes the show to a sinister place with its bold monotone synth stab providing an almost alarm-like call to the floor. Participants will be rewarded with a deep and propelling bass line that will give a new sense of demonic motivation to any afterhours session. Something everyone should hear. ENJOY, ELEKTEK
